Vitality in Motion

Dragons have appeared in Chinese art since the Neolithic period. By the Han dynasty they were understood as creatures of water, rivers, and oceans, able to move through clouds and bring life-giving rain. In later dynastic culture, the dragon also became closely associated with imperial majesty and power.

The Chinese dragon is defined by movement. Its long body coils, rises, and changes direction without losing continuity. In paintings and textiles, it often seems to gather the energy of cloud and water into a single, purposeful line.

THALUNE draws on that visual language without turning it into a promise of dominance or luck. Our dragon stands for vitality with direction: the courage to begin, the resilience to continue, and the confidence to shape a path rather than wait for one to appear.
